At an elementary school in Ryugasaki, Ibaraki Prefecture that is scheduled to close, the team attempts to excavate a time capsule to fulfill the heartfelt wishes of the school's former students. Seeking clues to its location, Masaki Aiba (相葉雅紀) and Hiromi (ヒロミ) use metal detectors and ground-penetrating radar to search the extensive school grounds.
The principal also requests help with Matsuba no Mori, which is set to remain as a community gathering place after the school closes but has become severely overgrown. The team takes on clearing vegetation, removing tangled vines and demolishing a hut on the verge of collapse. Aiba also works to restore a pond he has named Dragon Pond.
Nao Matsushita (松下奈緒), who stars in the drama “Analog Nurse: What on Earth Is Digital?!,” joins the effort as a surprise helper, handling shopping and the flowerbeds. Through the trio's efforts, Ikoi no Mori begins its restoration, drawing viewers' attention.
