三和ホールディングス released an updated version of the Sanwa Global Vision 2030 Medium-Term Management Plan 2027, covering the 3 years from fiscal 2025 to fiscal 2027. The update clarifies the policy of improving profitability in overseas operations and organises the issues and responses for each business.
The consolidated operating profit target for fiscal 2027 was lowered from ¥95 billion to ¥82-85 billion. The company aims to improve profitability through operational improvements and cost restructuring in the Americas and other regions.
Under its capital policy, the company plans to direct funds toward shareholder returns while maintaining financial soundness and using appropriate financial leverage, thereby optimising its capital structure. It aims for ROE of 18% or more under the current medium-term plan and 20% or more under the next plan.
As a measure to strengthen shareholder returns, the company outlined a policy of raising the dividend payout from the fiscal 2026 year-end dividend onward to a guideline of 15% DOE. In addition to the approximately ¥40 billion in the initial plan, approximately ¥60 billion will be added during fiscal 2027, revising the total share acquisition amount to approximately ¥100 billion.
