As the 10th instalment of the Regional Charms Promotion Project jointly planned by HUB and ANA AKINDO, the Amami Fair, featuring renowned spirits from Amami Oshima, will be held at selected stores in the Tokyo metropolitan area. Fair menus and brown-sugar shochu will be available during the event.
HUB CO.,LTD. and ANA Akindo Co., Ltd. are jointly running the “Discovering the Appeal of Local Communities Project,” which promotes the appeal of local communities through British-style pubs. The Amami Fair will be held as the project’s 10th installment, creating an opportunity to enjoy Amami Oshima’s distinctive shochu at locations in the Tokyo metropolitan area.
The fair will run from 1 October 2026 (Thursday) through 31 October 2026 (Saturday) at 5 locations: HUB Haneda Airport Terminal 2, HUB Hibiya, HUB ChomChom Akihabara, HUB Shinjuku West Exit O Guard, and HUB Sakuragicho Cross Gate. Special fair menu items will be available, along with brown sugar shochu, which may be produced in the Amami Islands.
The participating producers are Amami Oshima Shuzo Co., Ltd., Nishihira Honten Co., Ltd., and Machida Shuzo Co., Ltd., with the eligible menu items for each producer also announced. Amami Oshima Shuzo will offer Jogo and Kawa Sunrise; Nishihira Honten will offer Ki (white koji preparation) and the “Ki” Wa Mojito; and Machida Shuzo will offer Sato no Akebono and Satoake Caipirinha.
HUB CO.,LTD. and ANA Akindo Co., Ltd. intend to continue sharing information about distinctive local alcoholic beverages, products and regions, while promoting the creation of human and commercial flows that contribute to regional revitalization.
