As a result, the company will operate under a structure in which former President Shigeta Setsu (重田せつ) continues to support group management as an adviser after stepping down. The transition to the new management structure is intended to carry forward the company’s founding principles and corporate culture while moving the business into the next era.
In remarks by the new president, Shigeta Kuniyoshi (重田国義) expressed his determination to remain a company that continuously brings happiness to customers through its hobby products and services as it approaches its 55th anniversary. Shigeta Kuniyoshi (重田国義) said he felt a responsibility to firmly carry forward the achievements built up to date and pass the business on to the next generation together with customers and business partners, adding that the company would continue striving to be an organisation capable of delivering the enjoyment and excitement of hobbies.
While preserving its founding principles, ボークス has indicated that it will seek a smooth transition under the new management structure. The personnel changes come ahead of the company’s 55th anniversary.
