The official Yamagata City website announces a collaboration project between the Yamagata Autumn/Winter Arts Festival and SUKSK Life. The project allows participants to earn points by walking around cultural facilities and taking part in events.
Yamagata City announced that it will implement a collaboration project between the Yamagata Autumn/Winter Arts Festival and SUKSK Life, under its two major visions of becoming a Culture-Creative City and an Advanced City for Health and Medical Care. The project is intended to enrich daily life by creating opportunities to experience culture and go out into the community, while also supporting health improvement.
Collaboration Project 1 provides a walking-map course covering 5 cultural facilities. Participants can earn 500 points for visiting the facilities, plus 200 bonus points. Participation requires scanning the 2D code at each facility, and 100 points are awarded per facility per day. In addition, visiting 5 facilities in a single day using the map function of the SUKSK app earns an additional 200 points.
During the arts festival, cultural and artistic events will be held at the participating facilities, giving visitors opportunities to earn SUKSK points by attending the events. The event lineup will be announced separately, and instructions for using the map function are available through links and other resources.
Collaboration Project 2 allows participants to earn SUKSK points by attending cultural events. The standard award is 500 points, although some events, such as exhibitions, may award 100 points. The project is open to smartphone app users, while users of the points booklet and similar materials are not eligible. The announcement states that downloading the dedicated SUKSK app is required to take part in the walking rally and events.
