At-Cripping will host FIBEP WMIC in Tokyo as the Japanese host partner. The event will run from 3 to 5 November 2026 at Hilton Tokyo, with KAIZEN as its theme and discussions on the value of news.
At-Cripping株式会社 announced that it will serve as the host partner in Japan for WMIC 2026, organised by FIBEP, the international association for the media intelligence industry. The 3-day event will run from 3 to 5 November 2026 at Hilton Tokyo in Shinjuku, Tokyo. This will be WMIC’s first event in East Asia.
The theme of WMIC 2026 is “KAIZEN: Continuous Improvement for a New Era”. In light of changes including the spread of generative AI and the fragmentation of media platforms, discussions will focus on the Japanese concept of “improvement”. Numerous sessions, including keynote speeches and panel discussions, are planned, with more than 50 speakers expected.
Domestic speakers are expected to include Hakuhodo DY Holdings, Kyodo News, Sakana AI, Fujitsu, Nissan Motor, Nomura Holdings and Kyodo Public Relations. The event is positioned as a forum for presenting Japan’s media, PR and technology frontiers to the world.
FIBEP is an international association founded in 1953, and WMIC is a core event for sharing industry trends. This Tokyo event will be the first in East Asia. At-Cripping will coordinate the venue, speakers and programme as the host in Japan, with an emphasis on disseminating Japanese expertise globally.
