CTC and IBM Japan have launched A-Native, a service supporting the development of new applications using AI and the renewal of existing systems. Centred on the AI-driven development tool IBM Bob, the service supports the development process from requirements definition through design, implementation and testing, and includes analysis work and assessment of the scope of required modifications. Prices start at ¥5 million, before tax, and the service is intended for modifications to customers' core systems and large-scale business systems.
A-Native aims to improve efficiency across development processes including requirements definition, design, programming and testing, while assessing the scope of required modifications through analysis of existing system structures and source code. It also supports phased cloud migration and modernisation, and comprises a suite of services centred on AI-driven development.
Going forward, CTC and IBM Japan will leverage the results of their technical validation to provide hands-on support for development work such as requirements definition and preparing design documents. The two companies aim to secure adoption by 50 companies over 3 years and plan to expand their AI agent development services in line with customers' business operations.
