A 20m-class straight carbody was delivered and transported by road to the J-TREC Yokohama plant. With no underfloor equipment, it is believed to have been shipped as a carbody, with delivery handled by 新潟共立運輸.
In the early hours of 22 October, a 20m-class straight carbody was delivered to the Yokohama plant of Japan Transport Engineering Company (J-TREC Yokohama). Transport was carried out by a logistics company from the Niigata area, and the carbody is said to be viewed as a carbody shipment because it had no underfloor equipment.
J-TREC has won a bid to supply its railcars for the Mita Line, and there is information that it received orders last fiscal year for 231 railcars for domestic public and private railway operators.
The delivered carbody is sometimes described as an unidentified carbody. A post by 横横鉄道技研 conveyed speculation that, based on the shape of the rain gutter, it appears to be a sustina carbody.
