A new HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 model featuring sapphire glass has launched. It combines a large approximately 1.82-inch display with a thin, lightweight design, improving durability and visibility for outdoor sports.
Huawei Technologies Japan announced that it would launch the sapphire-glass model of its HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 smartwatch series, the “HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 Sapphire Glass,” today, 5 October. It is available with fluor elastomer straps in two colors, black and pink, at an indicative market price of ¥21,780 (including tax).
The device features a large approximately 1.82-inch display in a body approximately 9.5mm thick and weighing approximately 27g, excluding the strap. Its AMOLED display, with maximum brightness of 2,000 nits, is designed to remain easy to read outdoors even in strong sunlight. The use of sapphire glass improves scratch resistance.
The device includes a barometer and supports workouts such as mountaineering and trail running. GPS positioning accuracy has been improved by approximately 20% compared with the previous model, while a sunflower-shaped antenna and a dual-band, five-satellite-system configuration provide highly accurate location data. Health-management functions, including sleep monitoring, HRV and emotional monitoring, have also been enhanced.
It offers long battery life for extended activities, running for up to approximately 10 days under typical use. It also supports wireless fast charging, with 10 minutes of charging expected to provide approximately one day of use. Assistant functions linked to smartphones and Bluetooth calling are also supported.
