TOKYO Global Team-Up, which provides hands-on business support through shared professional talent to promote startups’ overseas expansion, has been selected as a Tokyo Metropolitan Government partnership program. Applications from eligible startups will open on 2 November.
Mirai Works Inc. announced that it had been selected as a partner for the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s TOKYO SUTEAM program and had launched this program to provide hands-on support and outsourcing for overseas expansion. The program is aimed at startups in the seed to mid-stage, with applications opening on Monday, 2 November.
The program will provide, free of charge, professional talent with practical overseas business experience in a shared-resource format, helping address shortages of global talent within participating companies. Support will include not only hands-on assistance with business operations, but also face-to-face business meetings and local events in cooperation with local partner companies.
Against this backdrop, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is supporting startup growth under its 10×10×10 Innovation Vision. Mirai Works Inc. has built a track record of support by leveraging a database of approximately 98,500 people and platforms such as Booster.
According to the program outline, 10 companies will be selected, with applications accepted from 2 November 2026 through 23:59 on 30 November. Support will include hands-on assignments of professionals with overseas business experience, monthly regular pitches, online pitches linked directly to US venture capital firms, and support for exhibiting at overseas conferences and holding local business meetings.
