On Saturday, 3 October 2026, Dexerials conducted a tree-planting activity in cooperation with the NPO Association for Growing Greenery in Ashio. Approximately 100 trees were planted, with 102 employees and family members participating. Participants received an explanation of the planting method and planted the trees, and also visited the Ashio Copper Mine Memorial Museum as part of an environmental education program.
The Dexerials Group has long made coexistence with local communities in Tochigi Prefecture a policy of its activities, and this tree-planting event was the 15th in an initiative that has continued since 2009. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the area's history and the importance of environmental conservation.
Through environmental education that deepens understanding of the history of the Ashio Copper Mine, changes in the natural environment caused by smoke pollution, and efforts toward reforestation and restoration, the company has indicated that it will continue supporting nature restoration activities in cooperation with the association.
Based on its environmental policy, Dexerials places importance on resource circulation and environmental considerations and is promoting activities aimed at achieving a sustainable society.
