Hakuten will host Hakuten Open Studio 2026 (HOS 2026) from 9 to 12 December 2026 at T-BASE, its production studio in Koto Ward, Tokyo. The event is positioned as an opportunity to showcase the culmination of its creative activities over the past year and share its work in experience design.
This year's theme is “COMMONS,” representing an open shared space for creation where people from different backgrounds share their knowledge and skills to expand the possibilities of creation. The event will focus not only on the finished work, but also on making the creative process itself visible and highlighting the people involved.
From 10 to 12 December during the event, SHINKIBA CREATIVE HUB 2026, a regional event organized by Hakuten and Enokido Lumber as its secretariat, will be held in the vicinity of the venue. Visitors will be able to visit factories and companies in the Shinkiba and Tatsumi areas and experience their materials, technologies and the work of the people involved.
Last year, total attendance reached 1,496, and the event itself was shortlisted for the global design award D&AD Awards 2026.
