Felissimo is using crowdfunding to commercialize a cuddle plush that recreates one of the world’s largest cat breeds, the Maine Coon, at almost life size. If the target of 100 advance orders is reached, the product will go on sale; entries are currently being accepted.
A cuddle plush that recreates the Maine Coon, one of the world’s largest cat breeds, at almost life size is being developed through a Felissimo crowdfunding campaign. The target is 100 advance-order entries, upon which the product will be commercialized; if the target is not reached, applications will be canceled.
Felissimo introduced the approximately 1-meter-long “Maine Coon cuddle plush” on its official X account. The entry price is ¥15,674 including tax, and 65 advance orders have been placed so far.
The plush is approximately 44 cm long, 100 cm wide and 10 cm thick. Its coat is printed on short-pile fur fabric, while the eyes and front paws are represented with embroidery.
If the product is commercialized, it is scheduled for delivery from late February to late March 2027. The crowdfunding campaign closes on 4 November, and whether it proceeds will depend on the status of advance-order entries. Maine Coons are considered large-bodied and even-tempered, and this cuddle plush recreates their imposing presence at almost life size.
