キングジム NotteOn is a storage box and PC stand in one that consolidates items used with a laptop. Its new functionality for carrying everything together when moving between locations is highlighted as one of its key features.
キングジム NotteOn is presented as a new product that combines a storage box for keeping a laptop and its accessories together with a desktop PC stand. It has a handled divider, with the upper compartment able to hold a laptop of up to 14 inches or an A4 clear file, while the lower compartment has a drawer for organizing peripherals such as a mouse and charger.
The drawer measures up to approximately 32 cm wide × 22 cm deep × 3.5 cm high, and it is explained that a compact keyboard without a numeric keypad can also be stored when using an external keyboard. NotteOn is designed so that users can pull out their equipment while working, then close the drawer and move everything together once they are finished.
When moving between locations, it eliminates the need to place documents, a mouse, charger, cables, notebooks and other items on top of the laptop. Its measured dimensions of 33 × 26.6 × 11.5 cm also make it easy to store in an office locker, and it is proposed as an item suited to “free-address offices.”
NotteOn's PC stand offers 4 height settings from approximately 14.4 cm to 20 cm, allowing the screen to be raised to suit the user's posture. When a laptop is placed on the stand, the keyboard is somewhat higher for typing, but the reviewer's view is that the laptop keyboard is suitable for short periods of work, while an external keyboard is better for longer sessions.
A hole on the side of the main unit allows the laptop to be charged while stored, which is also cited as a modest but useful advantage. For people who want to consolidate small items in a free-address office, NotteOn is presented as an item that quickly turns a desk into a personal workspace.
