An information page has been published for Bridge, a learning and career support program for high school students and others in FY2026. It provides details on eligible household criteria, learning support formats, and the career events, venues and dates.
Funabashi City has announced the Bridge program, which supports learning and career development for high school students and others. Detailed information is linked to flyers and guidance documents on the page, including the criteria for eligible households and the people covered by the support.
Bridge offers two learning support formats. One is a commuting-based learning classroom, and the other is an individualized self-directed learning format intended for study at home. The classroom format provides individualized instruction using Study Sapuri, consultations on daily life and career paths, and opportunities to develop communication skills through board games.
The learning classrooms are based at 3 locations, with regular operating dates listed. Capacity is set for each venue, and applications exceeding capacity will be decided by lottery. Under the self-directed format, the number of Study Sapuri accounts distributed is given as the capacity, and the loan of tablet devices is also being considered.
Several career workshops are also planned. They will provide opportunities to explore participants’ interests and aptitudes through seminars on topics such as further education and scholarships, as well as interaction with current university students and working professionals. Event dates are listed by venue for each date in FY2026, together with information on participation requirements.
