Nihon Falcom has raised its earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending September 2026, with net sales expected to reach ¥4.3 billion, operating profit ¥2.8 billion, ordinary profit ¥2.8 billion and net income ¥1.9 billion.
Nihon Falcom announced today that it had revised its earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending September 2026. Net sales have been raised from the previous forecast of ¥3.6 billion to ¥4.3 billion, operating profit from ¥2.2 billion to ¥2.8 billion, ordinary profit from ¥2.2 billion to ¥2.8 billion and net income from ¥1.5 billion to ¥1.9 billion, with the operating margin expected to be approximately 65%. The forecast is also expected to represent a substantial increase from the previous year's results.
The revision reflects solid contributions from the overseas expansion of titles already released by the company and sales of new releases. Particular emphasis has been placed on the steady global sales of The Legend of Heroes: 空の軌跡 the 2nd, released simultaneously worldwide in September, 亰都ザナドゥ -桜花幻舞-, released in Japan and Asia in July, and 空の軌跡 the 1st, released globally in September of the previous year.
The company plans to support profitability through sales growth from new releases and the long-term monetisation of released titles through overseas expansion. The company has previously explained that sales tend to be concentrated in the fourth quarter, and this earnings structure appears to have been reflected in the current upward revision.
