Astellas Pharma raised its full-year forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027. Revenue is projected at ¥2.33 trillion and operating profit at ¥460 billion, with contributions expected from PADCEV and mirabegron.
Astellas Pharma raised its consolidated full-year earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 on an International Financial Reporting Standards basis. Revenue was raised from the previous forecast of ¥2.22 trillion to ¥2.33 trillion, while operating profit was increased from ¥395 billion to ¥460 billion.
The upward revision was attributed to expected growth from the start of the fiscal year in sales of the cancer drug PADCEV and the overactive bladder treatment mirabegron.
The move suggests that sales contributions from the company’s priority strategic products are expected to exceed the initial plan.
