TOCAT10, an international conference on catalysis, was held at Waseda University from 18 to 23 August, with Shimadzu Corporation exhibiting as the top-tier sponsor. The company presented catalysis research solutions centred on GC-related equipment.
TOCAT10 is an international conference covering the latest advances in catalysis research and attracted approximately 1,000 researchers from Japan and overseas. Shimadzu Corporation exhibited as the conference's top-tier sponsor, presenting catalysis research solutions centred on gas chromatography.
At its booth, the company introduced the FluxEdge GC system and the new GCMS-TQ RX series. It showcased an actual FluxEdge GC system and screened videos about TESCAN products, presenting a broad range of analytical technologies for catalysis research.
Researchers actively took part in question-and-answer sessions and exchanged views at the venue. The FluxEdge GC system was presented as capable of analysing the components of small samples rapidly and with high precision. Its potential use in catalysis research analysis was highlighted.
The day after TOCAT10, the company also held an event titled “Next-Generation GC Accelerates Catalysis Research.” More than 70 researchers from Japan and overseas attended, and the future potential of analytical technologies was discussed through presentations and a panel discussion.
