Iyo Bank, a subsidiary of Iyogin Holdings, has launched a generative AI pilot in its sales division. The bank aims to shorten the time required to understand information on corporate customers and improve operational efficiency and sales quality.
Iyo Bank will conduct a generative AI pilot in its sales division from October through November. The aim is to shorten the time required to understand customer information, thereby improving operational efficiency and sales quality.
Using test terminals at head office and branches, the bank will enable generative AI to provide immediate answers to questions about corporate customer information and proposal activities.
The pilot will evaluate the appropriateness, ease of understanding, response time, compliance considerations and efficiency of the content based on user surveys and the status of generative AI responses.
President Sagayama Takashi (佐賀山隆) has identified the use of AI as a long-term challenge. If the pilot confirms its effectiveness, the bank will consider full-scale implementation. It is also considering future expansion to customer counters and administrative processing.
