Tokyo Electron Device has entered into a distributor agreement with Zenity Ltd. and will begin selling Zenity's security platform for AI agents in Japan. Sales will start on 7 October 2026, with the aim of addressing security challenges accompanying the wider use of AI agents.
Zenity's platform protects agents across cloud, SaaS and endpoint environments. It provides visibility into agent discovery and exposure through Surface, runtime control through real-time assessment and policy enforcement at the decision-making layer through Enforce, and incident detection and response through Respond.
Through its handling of Zenity, TED intends to help address security and governance challenges related to AI agents. The company has stated that it will support the safe use of AI by enterprises by providing implementation validation assistance and technical support.
As the adoption of AI agents advances, Zenity's security platform is expected to become an important element supporting the safe use of AI by enterprises. The partnership between TED and Zenity is expected to open the way to large-scale, secure operation of autonomous AI in the Japanese market.
