Nothing will launch the CMF Clip Pro, a clip-on open-ear earbud from its London-based sub-brand CMF, on 15 August. Features include a newly developed three-point clip designed for both a secure fit and extended wear, sound powered by Ultra Bass technology, and a charging case equipped with a smart dial.
Nothing today launched the CMF Clip Pro, the first clip-on open-ear earbuds from the CMF brand. The newly developed clip structure secures each earbud at three points, while the lightweight design is intended to provide a comfortable fit over extended periods.
At the core of the earbuds is high-linearity sound from 10.8 mm dual-magnet drivers, along with Ultra Bass technology to compensate for the low frequencies that are often lost with open-ear designs. Support for the LDAC, AAC and SBC codecs enables high-quality playback, and bass can also be adjusted through the Nothing X app.
The earbuds also focus on call quality, using Clear Voice technology with two HD microphones and a voice pickup unit on each side. A private listening mode is also available, using ambient-noise suppression and voice detection to help prevent private conversations from being overheard.
The charging case features a smart dial for intuitive operation, including when wearing gloves. The earbuds have physical buttons, and the case and earbuds are available in three colors: Light Gray, Dark Gray and Coral. Playback time is up to 10 hours with the earbuds alone and up to 32.5 hours with the case, while a 10-minute fast charge provides up to 4 hours of playback. The price is ¥12,800 (including tax), and availability will vary by color, with each color offered through a different retail partner.
