EXEO Group,Inc. and Andrew entered into a comprehensive alliance for mobile infrastructure sharing in Japan using active DAS. The companies will pursue more cost-efficient equipment construction and operation with a view to advancing 5G and transitioning to 6G.
On 14 October 2026, EXEO Group,Inc. announced that it had agreed with Andrew, an Amphenol Company, to a comprehensive business alliance concerning a mobile infrastructure sharing business in Japan using active DAS. The alliance is intended to improve the efficiency of construction and operating costs for communications infrastructure with a view to the advancement of 5G and the future introduction of 6G.
The centerpiece of the alliance is the use of Andrew's "ANDREW ERA DAS" product series, which offers the flexibility to support multiple connection methods in a single enclosure. Configurations using CPRI or OpenRAN interfaces can provide mobile coverage in indoor areas without installing RRHs, reducing installation space and power consumption while simplifying equipment configurations.
Through its subsidiary dhost Global, EXEO Group,Inc. has experience sharing indoor communications infrastructure at more than 1,500 sites across the Asia-Pacific region. Under the alliance, it will formally adopt ANDREW ERA DAS as a technology platform and strengthen its delivery structure in Japan and globally. The companies will establish a one-stop delivery structure for private-sector mobile infrastructure operators.
Looking ahead, the companies aim to rapidly build a low-latency, high-quality communications environment that contributes to the advancement of Japan's communications infrastructure and helps address social issues. They also anticipate business growth, including investment of ¥300 billion under the new medium-term management plan through fiscal 2030.
