Rohto Pharmaceutical raised its consolidated full-year earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027. Net sales of ¥372.3 billion and operating profit of ¥45.0 billion, among other metrics, are now expected to exceed the previous forecast.
Rohto Pharmaceutical revised its consolidated full-year earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027, projecting net sales of ¥372.3 billion, operating profit of ¥45.0 billion, ordinary profit of ¥47.4 billion and net income attributable to owners of parent of ¥35.2 billion. Each figure has been raised from the outlook previously announced.
The revision reflects an increase in the foreign exchange assumptions for the US dollar from ¥155 to ¥158 and for the Chinese yuan from ¥22 to ¥23. Another factor was strong performance in the Asia, Japan and Europe segments during the cumulative first-quarter period, which exceeded expectations.
Following the upward revision, net sales and all profit items are expected to exceed the previous forecast. Compared with the previous consolidated fiscal year, net sales are also expected to increase, while operating profit and net income attributable to owners of parent are expected to rise.
