To mark World Watch Day, Shellman will hold the special sales event “Mechanical Watches Embodying Beauty and the Cosmos” at the 9th-floor Premium Room of Hanshin Umeda Main Store on 10 and 11 October 2026. CVDK’s latest prototype, “Venus,” will also be presented in a special exhibition.
株式会社シェルマン will hold the special sales event “Mechanical Watches Embodying Beauty and the Cosmos” at the 9th-floor Premium Room of Hanshin Umeda Main Store to coincide with World Watch Day, which celebrates watch culture. The event will also feature a panel exhibition held on the same dates and an introduction by CVDK’s CEO and watchmaker, who will be visiting Japan, presenting the worlds of astronomy and watchmaking.
The 4 participating prestigious brands are CVDK, Louis Moinet, Armin Strom and Wempe. Representative models from each brand will be exhibited and sold, including astronomical watches that reproduce the movement of celestial bodies on their dials and watches that express physical phenomena through their mechanisms. The specially arranged booths will introduce each brand’s aesthetic, allowing visitors to view works by contemporary independent watchmakers as well.
CVDK’s latest prototype, “Venus,” which will be presented in a special exhibition, is a high-end model offered on a made-to-order basis. The actual watch will be presented at the venue alongside models from the other brands. The event will run for 2 days, 10 October 2026 (Saturday) and 11 October 2026 (Sunday), from 10:00 to 19:00, with closing at 18:00 on the final day, 11 October.
