Bose held BOSE GYM in Tokyo, an event where attendees could experience the 2nd-generation Bose Ultra Open Earbuds and Bose Sport Open Earbuds. The event featured a workout session, a talk by fitness trainer Aya, and an interview with Raza Haider.
The event was held in Tokyo on 14 October as a media preview event, offering hands-on experience with Bose’s new open-ear products. The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds 2nd Generation and Bose Sport Open Earbuds were introduced at the venue, and attendees were able to try them on.\n\nThe Bose Ultra Open Earbuds 2nd Generation retains the ear-cuff design while adopting a metallic cap for an updated appearance. Newly designed drivers add depth to the low frequencies, while OpenAudio technology reduces sound leakage and provides a natural, comfortable fit. Cinema Mode uses TrueSpatial technology to create a centered sound image and a wide soundstage.\n\nThe Bose Sport Open Earbuds prioritize stability and comfort, with a C-arm cuff designed to stay in place during intense exercise. Dynamic drivers and OpenAudio technology allow users to hear surrounding sounds, while an automatic volume adjustment feature keeps the volume at a consistent level. Battery life is 7 hours from the earbuds alone, or up to 29 hours with the charging case.\n\nThe event included a talk session and a workout session. Fitness trainer Aya discussed the benefits of open-ear earbuds, and participants valued being able to listen to both the instructor’s guidance and music at the same time. After the event, Raza Haider was interviewed about the outlook for the Japanese market and the company’s approach to product development.
