The TSE Growth Market 250 Index continued to decline in line with the fall in the Nikkei Average. Among major stocks, GNI plunged, while Data Section and Cybertrust fell for a third consecutive day.
The Growth 250 on the TSE Growth Market sank back into negative territory as the Nikkei Average declined, after its rise from the previous day had paused. Although it briefly recovered to 800 points during the morning session, selling did not spread broadly and the decline remained limited overall.
Among individual stocks, GNI plunged, while Data Section and Cybertrust fell for a third consecutive day. QD Laser declined after a previous rise, and Trial also fell for the first time in 6 days. Meanwhile, Oncolys Bio rebounded, Tier IV extended its gains, Syns rose for a fourth consecutive day and PowerX rose for a fifth consecutive day.
The Growth 250's decline remained smaller than that of the Nikkei Average. Market participants believe that although some funds are flowing into large technology stocks, the market as a whole has not shifted into strongly risk-off trading.
