Xiaomi Japan officially announced that it will raise the prices of some existing products by up to ¥20,000 on 1 September and 4 September 2026. The main reason is rising product costs, including memory prices, and the revisions will be applied in two stages.
Xiaomi Japan announced on its official X account that it will revise prices from 00:00 on 1 September and 00:00 on 4 September. The revisions mainly affect higher-end models with different memory capacities, with increases of up to ¥20,000.
The affected models include the Xiaomi 17T Pro (12GB/512GB and 12GB/256GB), POCO X8 Pro Max (12GB/512GB and 12GB/256GB), and POCO X8 Pro (12GB/512GB, 8GB/512GB and 8GB/256GB), among others. Prices will be revised from current indicative market prices to new prices.
Xiaomi Japan also said that it is making every effort to prepare its smartphones scheduled for release next week, including on pricing. It announced that the price and details of the REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G, scheduled for release on 28 August, will be disclosed at noon on 27 August.
The table lists the current and revised prices for each model. Some REDMI Pad 2 series models will also see modest increases rather than remaining at their current prices. Overall, the revisions are attributed to higher raw material and component costs and rising expenses, and future price movements will be closely watched.
