ジグザグ began handling quasi-drugs through WorldShopping BIZ, its cross-border e-commerce support service, and WorldShopping, its overseas purchase proxy service. Many quasi-drugs are products used on a daily basis, such as medicated skincare products and antiperspirants.
Approximately 4 months after handling began, purchases have been made from a total of 9 countries and regions, including the United States, Malaysia and Singapore. As of the end of August, the products most frequently purchased included sanitary napkins, medicated whitening toothpaste, and medicated skincare creams and serums.
ジグザグ has indicated that it plans to expand the product categories and brands it handles, and will expand the system enabling customers to repurchase through cross-border e-commerce after returning home products they discovered while visiting Japan.
