Japan debut of VARIO, an independent micro-watch brand from Singapore. HMS Watch Store will hold advance sales at TOKYO WATCH WOW, followed by general sales at its Omotesando store and official online store from 9 November.
VARIO's collections arrive in Japan for the first time. VERSA features reversible dual-time and single-time designs with different dials on each side, the 1918 Pilot uses a dial angled at approximately 45 degrees, and the Futurist combines a futuristic rectangular case with a sunburst-finished dial.
The VERSA dual-time has a case measuring 39 mm vertically by 26 mm horizontally and 12 mm thick, and is equipped with a S Linda quartz Slimtech 1062 movement. It is priced at ¥92,000. The reversible single-time model has a case measuring 41.5 mm vertically by 28 mm horizontally and 10.5 mm thick, is equipped with a MIYOTA 6T28 movement, and is priced at ¥110,000.
The 1918 Pilot is a 37 mm-diameter, 10 mm-thick hand-wound model equipped with a MIYOTA 8N33 movement and offering approximately 40 hours of running time. The Futurist measures 39 mm by 10 mm and is equipped with a self-winding MIYOTA 9039 movement, with approximately 40 hours of power reserve. Water resistance is available at 5 and 10 atmospheres.
