The Japan Omnichannel Association is seeking companies taking on the challenge of the DX Innovation Awards 2026. Applications close on 24 November 2026, and the awards ceremony is scheduled to be held in February 2027 at Omnichannel Day, a 1Day conference.
The DX Innovation Awards are organised by the Japan Omnichannel Association to recognise companies and organisations taking on the challenge of transforming business and society through DX. A wide range of DX initiatives, including the use of AI and other digital technologies, is eligible. The purpose of this year's awards is to create opportunities for these initiatives to be communicated to society.
Entries will be evaluated against 5 criteria: "problem definition and strategic approach," "innovation and use of digital technology," "results and impact," "collaboration and implementation capabilities," and "potential for development and broader social impact." In addition to the existing Corporate, Support Company and Venture categories, a new Public and Education category will be introduced.
Companies are encouraged to enter as an opportunity to communicate their initiatives to society. The awards are also intended to provide an opportunity to reaffirm, through internal organisation and visualisation of their initiatives, what they have sought to change and what value they have created. The awards ceremony is expected to be held at Omnichannel Day in February 2027.
Applications close on Tuesday, 24 November 2026. Details and application procedures will be provided on the official website of the Japan Omnichannel Association.
