Adways announced plans to revise its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending December 2026 upward and pay a commemorative dividend in addition to the regular year-end dividend, marking the 20th anniversary of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Net sales are expected to decline 3.4% year on year to ¥11.8 billion, while profit lines are expected to improve significantly.
Adways announced upward revisions to its consolidated earnings and dividend forecasts for the fiscal year ending December 2026. Net sales are expected to be ¥11.800 billion, down 3.4% year on year, while operating profit is expected to be ¥1.500 billion, up 5.051% year on year, ordinary profit ¥1.750 billion, up 188.3%, and net profit ¥1.500 billion, up 495.2%.
The factors behind the upward revision include solid demand for the ad platform business, UNIQUE's brand advertising and clients operating manga apps, despite the decline in revenue resulting from the transfer of shares in subsidiaries in China and Hong Kong. JANet saw increased demand from financial companies, while advertising for game and manga apps performed well in the agency business.
For dividends, the company revised its regular year-end dividend to ¥7.06 per share and plans to pay a commemorative dividend of ¥5.00 per share to mark the 20th anniversary of its listing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, bringing the expected annual dividend to ¥12.06 per share.
As a result of the increase in revenue and cost controls described above, each profit measure is expected to exceed the previously announced forecast.
