METAWATER, a major water treatment company, raised the targets of its medium-term management plan through fiscal 2027, buoyed by strong performance in North America. It also raised its net income target as demand for data center cooling in the United States is expected to expand.
METAWATER, a major water treatment company, said it would raise the targets of its medium-term management plan through fiscal 2027, buoyed by strong performance in North America. President Kenji Yamaguchi (山口 賢二) said cooling demand from data centers is increasing in the North American market and that the company expects its project pipeline to expand.
In April, the company raised its fiscal 2027 net income target from ¥8.5 billion to ¥11 billion. The plan had assumed organic growth, but strong performance by companies acquired through M&A was cited as a factor behind the revision.
The company also noted that it had acquired Aqua-Aerobic Systems in 2016, indicating that its business expansion in North America had driven the revision of its medium-term plan.
