“Shima Enaga Waiting for Spring,” a collaboration with The Sailor Pen Co.,Ltd. inspired by Hokkaido’s snow fairy, the shima enaga, will launch on 28 October 2026. It will be introduced in a new specification, in Lavender Ice and Old Rose.
Hokkaido-based EC company ホームショッピング is partnering with The Sailor Pen Co.,Ltd. to launch a new fountain pen, “Shima Enaga Waiting for Spring.” The launch date is Wednesday, 28 October 2026.
The design evokes Hokkaido’s winter snow scenes and the arrival of spring. Lavender Ice is used for the cap, barrel and grip section, while Old Rose is used for the cap finial and barrel end. The color scheme recalls white snow and the shima enaga’s plumage.
The pen has a medium-sized 14-karat gold nib with original laser engraving and is available in 7 writing widths: EF, F, MF, M, B, Z and MS. It uses a dual-filling system compatible with both converters and cartridges.
The pen measures φ17×124mm and weighs 16.8g. It is sold in a presentation box. ホームショッピング is the retailer, with product pages listed on Rakuten Ichiba, Yahoo! Shopping and its official online shop, among others.
