Japanese game company Cygames has announced a sponsorship agreement with the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Cardinals game at Dodger Stadium on 3 September will be held as the “2025 World Series Ohtani Ring Presented by Cygames,” and attendees will receive Ohtani Shohei (大谷翔平)-model World Series rings.
Cygames announced on 12 August that it had signed a sponsorship agreement with MLB’s Dodgers. The Cardinals game at Dodger Stadium on 3 September will be held as a special event.
At the event, attendees will receive 2025 World Series championship rings modeled on those of Ohtani Shohei (大谷翔平), while Cygames’ name and logo will be displayed on in-stadium screens and signage, as well as its official social media accounts.
The announcement prompted many fans to express surprise and excitement.
On the day, Dodger Stadium is expected to be filled with a special atmosphere alongside the championship-ring giveaway.
