Canon announced two new camera accessories, the DM-E10D microphone and the TC-N3/TC-E3 timer remote controllers. The DM-E10D is scheduled to launch in late December 2026, and the TC-N3/TC-E3 in late January 2027.
Canon announced two new camera accessories designed to make shooting easier and more comfortable: the compact, lightweight DM-E10D microphone and the TC-N3/TC-E3 timer remote controllers, which feature a clock function. Both require neither a cable nor a separate power source and can work with a camera to simplify audio transmission and shooting settings.
The DM-E10D has a compact design measuring approximately 36.8 mm wide × 61.0 mm deep × 53.7 mm high and weighing approximately 59 g. It can receive power and transmit data via the camera's multi-accessory shoe. Its pickup pattern is supercardioid, making it suitable for audio recording during vlogging and live streaming.
The TC-N3 and TC-E3 are two models for astrophotography and time-lapse photography, with the TC-N3 supporting the N3 terminal and the TC-E3 supporting the E3 terminal. They newly feature a clock function, allowing users to set a shooting time and start shooting automatically. Visibility of the display panel has also been improved, and the units can be mounted on a tripod.
The DM-E10D is scheduled to launch in late December 2026, and the TC-N3/TC-E3 in late January 2027. Pricing is listed as open pricing.
