Marudai Food supported a hamburger-making workshop at a children's cafeteria operated by the Okaeri Hiroba Network, with 66 parent-child groups taking part. At the venue, participants used chicken hamburgers and bacon to create original burgers decorated with facial features.
Marudai Food held a hamburger-making workshop at the Okaeri Hiroba children's cafeteria, operated by Mishima Children's Culture Station, an NPO, with 66 parent-child groups taking part. The company began providing food ingredients to the organization in March 2025, making this the second support event following last year's hot dog-making workshop.
After an introduction to the company, participants deepened their knowledge through true-or-false quizzes about bacon and hamburgers before experiencing the creation of original burgers using the company's popular products. The children made facial features from nori and cheese, completing burgers with a wide range of individual designs.
Okaeri Hiroba aims to be a third place outside school and home, with volunteers from a broad range of generations taking part.
The initiative is positioned as part of the local food education program and provides a place for children and their parents to interact through food ingredients.
