Kagome launched 100% fruit juice that does not use grapefruit. In response to soaring grapefruit prices, it blends yellow carrot and lemon juice to recreate the flavor.
Kagome announced that it will launch a new 100% fruit juice, “Beyond Grapefruit-Flavored 100% Juice Made Without Grapefruit.” The product aims to achieve a similar flavor through its own blend while avoiding the flavor derived from conventional grapefruit.
The product comes in a 195 ml container, with yellow carrot and lemon juice added to the ingredients to recreate the flavor of white grapefruit. By combining these ingredients, the company is pursuing a new taste in 100% fruit juice.
The company explained that the product is intended in part to address soaring grapefruit prices and other factors.
