NH Foods Ltd. is working with the Kawaijuku Group to launch “Stamitas,” a meal service using frozen-food vending machines at cram schools. The first installation will be at the Chikusa School in Nagoya, with plans to expand the service to cram schools nationwide.
Based on “five types of care,” the service aims to address challenges surrounding meals at cram schools across five areas: concentration care, immune care, sleep care, brain care and eye care. The service was developed in response to issues in students’ meal environments arising from the increase in dual-income households and longer hours spent attending cram schools, incorporating feedback from parents.
The product lineup for Stamitas is described as having been developed based on feedback from the NH Foods Family Association, whose members include parents of elementary, junior high and high school students attending cram schools. The press release provides further details on the planned rollout and specific products.
