Ahead of Amazon.co.jp’s large-scale sale for Prime members, Amazon Prime Big Deal Days, Japan Communications’ starter pack is being offered for ¥2,100 as an early sale for subscription SIM cards.
The NT-ST2-P Starter Pack allows users to apply for a SIM or eSIM using the application code printed on the pack. It does not include a physical SIM card or eSIM setup details. It also supports one-stop MNP transfers.
The service supports 4G and can be switched to 5G (NSA). Users can choose from 4 plans: the Reasonable Simple 290 plan (1GB/month, from ¥290), the Reasonable Everyone’s plan (20GB/month, from ¥1,390), the Reasonable 50GB plan (50GB/month, from ¥2,178), and the Internet-only plan (less than 1GB, from ¥119, with upper limits of 20GB, 40GB, or 60GB).
The data allowance can be increased for an additional fee. Because the application process supports one-stop MNP transfers, switching providers can be completed smoothly.
