Seino Staff Service and Gakken Holdings conducted local recruitment in Indonesia ahead of the launch of the Specified Skilled Worker program in the logistics warehouse sector. Of 42 applicants, 17 received job offers, and Japanese-language training after their arrival in Japan will be provided through a program supervised by Gakken.
Against a backdrop of labor shortages in the logistics industry, Seino Staff Service held local recruitment interviews in Indonesia. The interviews took place over 2 days, on 16 and 17 September 2026, as the company moves to recruit foreign talent capable of working in Japan over the long term.
Selection focused mainly on candidates with experience working for Japanese companies, and 17 job offers were made from among 42 applicants. The successful candidates are preparing to work in Japan and are expected to begin employment after arriving in the country.
To strengthen Japanese-language education before arrival in Japan, pre-departure training will be provided using a program supervised by Gakken Holdings. The successful candidates are scheduled to begin studying Japanese in mid-October, with the aim of improving their ability to adapt to practical work.
Going forward, the company plans to expand its use of foreign talent, starting with acceptance at its own sites and extending from its contracted sites to the entire Seino Group and general companies nationwide.
