RLWRLD's physical AI robot will hand beverages to people and collect empty containers on Otemachi Nakadori. The demonstration will be conducted as the 4th TMIP Citywide Demonstration Project, a co-creation initiative in the Marunouchi area, with the 3 parties collaborating to test operating methods and social acceptance.
RLWRLD (Real World), Mitsubishi Estate and the general incorporated association TMIP will conduct a demonstration over 2 days, 15 and 16 October 2026, using Otemachi Nakadori in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, as the test site for a physical AI robot to hand out beverages and collect empty containers. The event is part of the 4th TMIP Citywide Demonstration Project, which aims to build an ecosystem covering the entire Marunouchi area.
The demonstration will test robot operation in the real world and social acceptance, examining the feasibility of implementing physical AI through robots interacting with people in situations such as providing work support and supplying goods. By combining technology centered on RLWRLD's RLDX-1 with operational design by Mitsubishi Estate and TMIP, the parties will accumulate knowledge by leveraging the co-creation ecosystem in the Marunouchi area.
■ Through collaboration based on each company's role, the parties will use the demonstration to develop operational expertise and test social acceptance. RLWRLD will provide the robot and experience, verify its operation and manage safety; Mitsubishi Estate will prepare the environment and create points of contact with visitors and workers; and TMIP will oversee overall design, promotion and communications. The parties aim to apply the knowledge gained to diverse locations across the Marunouchi area.
