Sales were based on the previous fiscal year, and progress against the full-year plan set at the beginning of the fiscal year was 29.4%.
Ordinary profit for the most recent three-month period, July-September, was ¥820 million, down 8.0% year on year, while the operating margin on sales deteriorated from 7.7% to 6.8%.
Based on its unchanged full-year plan, the company estimates second-half ordinary profit at ¥3.04 billion, up 3.9% from the same period of the previous year. Although there is a difference between the first-half and second-half forecasts for the current fiscal year, the factors behind any revision for the second half have not been disclosed.
