TRULY has launched “TRULY for Business-Leaders,” a corporate program for male managers and executives, and begun recruiting companies for proof-of-concept projects ahead of full-scale rollout. With the economic loss from LOH syndrome estimated at ¥1.2 trillion annually, the initiative encourages organisations to address the issue.
TRULY has launched “TRULY for Business-Leaders (TRULY for Business-Leaders),” a corporate program for male managers and executives experiencing menopause-related issues. The program treats individual health problems as a business-management issue and provides an integrated framework supporting early detection and day-to-day care.
The number of potential patients with LOH syndrome in Japan is estimated at approximately 6 million. Delays in seeking medical care for male menopause and social stigma have become issues. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry estimates that failing to address this health issue results in economic losses of approximately ¥1.2 trillion.
The program includes training and online learning, the “MENOPO CHECK FOR MEN” hair-based hormone test, ongoing support from specialists via LINE, and effectiveness measurement through comparisons of data before and after implementation. Results reports are also provided to companies.
Ahead of full-scale rollout, TRULY has begun recruiting PoC companies with support from the member-project program of Shibuya Innovation Institute. A framework for expert commentary and oversight of related services has also been established. The initiative is positioned as an effort to maximise performance across corporate organisations.
