The new in-game currency “Free Melon” will be introduced in the Station Memories! app version. It will be granted as a bonus when purchasing from the official onboard sales Web Shop and can be used to purchase items and for gacha draws. The existing Melon will be renamed “Paid Melon.”
Mobile Factory,Inc. announced that it plans to introduce a new in-game currency, “Free Melon,” in the app version of the location-based game “Station Memories! (駅メモ！)” from 22 October 2026. It will be granted as a bonus when purchasing eligible products and can also be used to purchase in-app items and for gacha draws.
“Free Melon” will be granted as a bonus when purchasing eligible products from the Station Memories! official onboard sales Web Shop, while the existing “Melon” will be renamed “Paid Melon.” Free Melon will be valid for 180 days from the date it was most recently granted or consumed and can be used only in the app version.
