Fujitsu will begin offering the Fujitsu Trusted Supply Chain Service on 20 August 2026. Positioned as Japan's first SaaS offering of its kind, it uses functionality from U.S.-based Exostar to enable data management and operations in Japan, supporting secure data exchange and communication across the entire supply chain. It is designed to meet the requirements of the defense industry and critical infrastructure sectors.
The service provides a secure environment compliant with NIST SP 800-171 and, through its collaboration with Exostar, incorporates reliable authentication and authorization capabilities. A key feature is its management of data in domestic data centers, enabling secure information sharing between companies.
The U.S. CUI-compliant service will also be offered concurrently as a related service based on U.S. cloud infrastructure and operating processes. Companies that do business with the U.S. Department of Defense will be able to choose this service. Its implementation is intended to reduce the burden of complex system development and operations while advancing digitalization and business continuity.
Looking ahead, the service is expected to contribute to stronger supply chain security and greater international competitiveness for Japanese companies. It is also linked to the expansion of services in the zero-trust field and the broader context of TrustSentinel TSS2.0.
