Shimadzu Corporation has launched a JCSS calibration service for the XDimensus 300 metrology X-ray CT system, enabling the issuance of calibration certificates for the first time in Japan.
A JCSS calibration service for the XDimensus 300 metrology X-ray CT system has been launched. Shimadzu Corporation established a calibration method compliant with JIS B 7440-11 and was certified by NITE as a JCSS-registered service provider.
The service enables the issuance of calibration certificates bearing the JCSS mark, allowing XDimensus 300 measurement data to be submitted to overseas business partners. YU CORPORATION CO., LTD. is expected to be the first customer.
The service features the issuance of certificates covered by the International MRA, high-quality calibration including equipment repairs and inspections, and availability to customers who have already installed the equipment.
The service launch date is 29 October 2026. The covered product is the XDimensus 300, and the suggested retail price starts at ¥218,000, including tax.
