中部電力ミライズ will revise certain electricity rate plans for low-voltage customers from 1 April 2027 and discontinue offerings including the Low-Voltage High-Usage Contract. It will also revise other supply conditions, including extra-high-voltage and high-voltage contracts.
The rate plans subject to revision include the Smart Life Plan, Smart Life Plan for Smart Airs, E-Life Plan (three time-of-use periods), Time Plan, Low-Voltage Late-Night Power A and B, Nighttime Power and Hiru Toku Plan. The rates before and after the revisions have been published. The revised rates can be checked in the PDF.
Under the Smart Life Plan revisions, adjustments will be made in response to changes in supply and demand resulting from the expansion of renewable energy adoption, including lower daytime rates and higher nighttime rates. The data also shows the treatment of basic charges and amounts exceeding the contracted capacity. The energy charge for the daytime period will also be revised under the Hiru Toku Plan.
The revised rates will take effect on 1 April 2027, and a simulation website for estimating the impact on electricity charges is scheduled to open around December 2026. Information has also been provided on the discontinuation of certain low-voltage rate plans and revisions to various contract rules and terms.
