日本アクア has developed the U-MAX insulation board for residential use and is preparing for a launch around year-end. It plans to sell the flooring version first, while also considering applications in exterior insulation for walls and roofs.
The thermal conductivity is reported to be 0.021(W)/(m・K), and the company aims to combine high thermal performance with cost-effectiveness. It has previously reviewed the specifications of windows, entrances and insulation materials for each home and provided design proposals, but will now expand its procurement and sales of insulation boards and strengthen a structure that enables it to provide a complete solution in-house by combining them with its spray-applied urethane insulation material, AquaForm.
In July 2025, it entered into a business alliance with an insulation-board manufacturer and began procuring and selling EPS and XPS insulation boards. This will enable it to establish a sales structure for “Marutto AquaForm,” a one-stop proposal covering insulation materials for an entire home, including the flooring.
By now launching the manufacture and sale of the U-MAX insulation board, the company aims to establish a structure under which all services can be completed in-house.
