X Mile has partnered with Sompo Japan Insurance Inc. to launch a special LogiPoke plan for logistics operators, promoting accident reduction and digital transformation through its agency network.
X Mile announced on 30 October that it had formed a business alliance with Sompo Japan Insurance Inc. and indicated that the companies would work together to resolve challenges facing the logistics industry and reduce traffic accidents. Under the collaboration, the two companies are preparing to offer logistics operators a special plan for the AI and software product “LogiPoke.”
Specifically, the companies will offer the special LogiPoke plan and implementation support to logistics operators referred through Sompo Japan’s nationwide agency network. Preferential measures will apply to eligible operators regardless of whether they have an insurance policy.
In a pilot conducted earlier through selected agencies, the operators referred to the service reportedly responded favorably, and the transition to a nationwide rollout is under way. The companies plan to expand into broader areas, with expectations of accelerating the introduction of safety training with a high impact on implementation and the promotion of digital transformation.
In the future, the companies are expected to expand the service’s target sectors to buses, taxis and other areas, strengthen service integration and jointly develop services, with the aim of achieving more advanced safety management.
