Okeanos is expanding commercial production of Made From Stone across multiple countries, from flexible to rigid packaging. The company has announced applications ranging from household products to perfume components while advancing collaboration with Japanese companies.
Okeanos is expanding commercial production by introducing Made From Stone(TM) into existing manufacturing infrastructure, from flexible packaging films and food packaging to precision cosmetic components. The company was invited to participate in the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's GX Foreign Company Market Entry Support Program, accelerating collaboration with Japanese manufacturers and brand owners.
Made From Stone(TM) is currently being validated and scaled in commercial production for applications including delivery and e-commerce shipping bags in Argentina, shopping bags and carrier bags in countries across Latin America, household product packaging in the United States and Thailand, food-contact packaging in Ecuador, and perfume cap components for a premium fragrance line in Brazil.
LCA data is being prepared for each application and can be used in brands' ESG reporting. Through the Made From Stone(TM) QR platform, it also serves as a co-branding tool for communicating environmental information to consumers.
